Location Tracking

The risks of location tracking are that someone could get ahold of the system, and find your loved one. We put a tracking system with them to find them and bring them home; others might want to keep them for themselves. I personally think that the benefits outweigh the risks. It is very unlikely that someone can intercept the signals or control that is used to track them. Pets and children are known to wander and this will make a parent feel better about turning their back for a few seconds or walking their pet without a leash. I personally think that parents do not have the right to put chips in their children, or their teenage children. When would be the proper age to ask for their consent? What if their parents abused the privellige and never trusted their child. I think that once you are of the age of 18 you can make that decision for yourself if you want the tracking device within you. If the Congress passed a bill for children under the age of 5 to have chips, I wouldn’t support it because children have been just fine without it. If a parent loses their child that often that they need a chip, they should lose custody. There child should be in same hands at all times, no need for a chip. However, I think it is ok to put a chip into an old person with altimezers because you could get their permission. Although the will forget you asked, you will still know how they feel about it and if they want it. I think GPS shoes will be a wonderful thing.
